BEACH BUMS...

We celebrated the 4th of July in my absolutely favorite way... at the beach. Although it was the beach in Port Aransas in Texas, I live for the day of laying and playing in the fabulous beaches of Cali or Florida (I'm jealous Melody!). Stephen is not at all in favor of beach vacations but happily accompanied Cammon and I there and even drove us all the way to our old stomping grounds. No one got a bad sunburn and even though it rained the entire time we still found some time to play in the waves. Baby Cammon even took a 2 hour nap on a beach towel on the sand... we were shocked! Cammon had so much fun riding and playing with his cousin Charlie Bear... and they were both so good in the long car ride... don't you think Katie?

I have to say I think they did great...it could have been much, much worse! Though I think they both miss the soothing voice of our book on tape dude! ;)

You know I love a good beach day! It sounds like Stephen will go to great lengths to keep his family happy, what a sweetie! I can't believe Cammon took a nap on the towel, what a good baby!

I am with you on the beach, I would love to live next to one someday. I had to put my blog on private, give me your email and I can put you on the list.

OMG! I just read the post you left on my blog. I live in Levelland and noticed that you guys just moved to Lubbock. We only have United and Walmart here since Lubbock is the corporate headquaters for United I heard that its an unwritten rule that other grocers do not come into that town. I use to be in retail. I have found since I've been looking closer that United does have a few good sales and I'm playing the summer game mostly just for the coupons you get for entering the code not to win any big $ (I can dream). I've gotten some good BOGO Qs from the game. Maybe we can help each other out on United. I do think they have the best meat by far and I have figured out they have a must-sale-quick bin for meat and it is usually 40% and it is still good quality as long as you go home and cook it or freeze it. I snagged 2 large ribeyes yesterday for $7.00. Hit it early in the morning to find the good meat.

Are you CVSing?
