A WEEK IN UTAH...

Grandma took Colton, Cammon and I on a week long trip to Utah. Our trip to Utah began by visiting Four Corners Park. As a child I remember visiting this park and the lines for the four states were painted on a cement slab and there were maybe two or three booths set up where you could purchase Indian trinkets. Well, now you have to pay to get into the park and they created a large display, which Colt is laying on, and all around was booth after booth of things to buy and bathrooms and food vendors. It was very updated. I made Colt run to get into the middle for this picture... there were so many people there and one by one they would pose and we were waiting forever to get one picture... so here it is.

When we finally made it to Utah we went straight to Holden to visit Grandma and Grandpa Heath. Well, Great Grandparents to Colt and Cam. I was so glad that they were all able to see each other.
While in Salt Lake City we visited Heritage Village, a state park set up for Pioneer times. One of the homes showed how pioneers washed clothes. Colton couldn't get enough of it and wanted to wash the whole basket. I couldn't believe it. I don't really know what was so fascinating to him about rubbing soap and clothes on a metal washboard but he really loved it.
Salt Lake City would not be complete without a visit to Temple Square and to the visitor center. We spent the day with Grandpa Tab and let him show us around the town.
For the last stretch of our trip we stayed at Thanksgiving Point in Utah. Can you believe that this is a man made waterfall. The entire garden was so beautiful and all man made. It was really a sight to behold. My hope was to get dazzling pictures of Cammon while in the park but he wanted nothing to do with any of it. He was such a little trooper the whole time... 16 hours in the car is a lot for a little baby and he took it like a man!
