$40 Grocery Week

So, I have put myself up to the challenge of only spending $40 a week on groceries thanks to http://www.moneysavingmom.com/. I fulfilled the challenge last week and knew that I could do again, and I did! It was exciting finding all the deals and leaving the little ones at home with dad and spending a few hours getting my things. Stephen is shocked, as am I, considering we used to budget $550.00 a month for groceries (what were we buying!)

This has truly been a challenge for me considering I don't have great grocery stores in my town, in other words I have a Wal-mart and a United... both of which do not double or triple coupons and rarely put out in-store coupons... so it is hard to find great deals. Here's what I got...
No, there is no baby food because I bought that stuff last week off of Craigslist... a grocery bag full for $10!

Target this week is doing a pretty good deal... buy 4 certain snack items and get a $5.00 gift card... and United had some buy one get one free coupons out for the week and boneless ribs for buy one get one free... and I visited my local Farmers Market for some good veggies!
Now what to do with all the money I am saving...
