On the Texas Plains Trail... Museum #1

For the next few weeks the kids and I will be traveling across the Texas plains to get a hands-on look at all Texas has to offer. We will be visiting lots of little towns and taking in their history through their local museums. We have a map and have planned out our journeys and hope to learn a few things along the way!

Buddy Holly Museum
Yes, the museum is solely dedicated to the late rocker Buddy Holly . Inside houses artifacts about his life and his music career, both of which were short lived. Guitars, letters, clothes and records are on display in the one room area along with a short film about him in the small theatre. The city has erected a new statue of the rocker across the street from the famous over sized glasses in honor of him. Buddy Holly enthusiasts are sure to get their fix here!
